I have a postpaid account and last year August I bought a Blackberry. The BIS $199 was added to my usual postpaid account$75 and I didn't lose any minutes. Those CSR seems to be BSing you.
I was looking at my bill and I know I didn't use over 100 minutes a month but yet every month I see the 50 'free' minutes tstt gives is used up. Seems they take those 50 minutes back if unused at end of month.
Then phone lines in my area were vandalised in February last year. The lines were fixed and service restored in Feb this year. Then in mail I get a bill for rental for the entire 11 mths of no service. Others in area queried bill and they were told to pay it and bill would be credited. I said I am not paying and the woman I met at tstt said I didn't have to pay and turns out they owe me a credit to my account !!!

For those who are interested, the internal system that is responsible for this malfeasance is RedKnee.

Crystal, Forget Blink! Though the cable company is also a main stealer and their customer service leaves much to be desired, they do provide adequate service and if you compare their rates online it is more than TSTT plus more reliable. Right now it is my understanding that TSTT system needs to be upgraded to handle new subscriptions. Thus original ADSL subscribers are the first to be migrated, then they will entertain new sign-ups. Please note their customer service (once the call centre is full) is rerouted. Expect to hear an Indian or a Spaniard on the other end who has no technological clue or clue of the English Language. Additionally, Speed is an issue. You pay for 2Mbps.. You infact get 1.X since it is also dependent not only on your distance from the exchange of your area but subscribers to the service.

Can you believe that I read your entire post? I truly understand your pain, because I've been there. I applied for blink since last October, every month they promise "next month."

I have canceled two post paid accounts because of similar problems. TSTT keeps robbing us blind, its time for us to send a clear message to those in charge. The problems start with management and trickles all the way down to the customer service reps.

They always blame the system but take it from someone who have been there (worked with TSTT mobile services) there is always a way to override it.
